CloudXplorer’s purpose is to help you browse your Windows Azure storage. You can use the application to connect to your Windows Azure account. And then you can use the application’s ribbon interface to browse all the data stored on your account. That is the brief and to the point explanation of what can be done with CloudExplorer.

The system requirements for running CloudXplorer are: Windows operating system, .NET Framework 4.0 or newer, Windows Azure storage account. A fully functional 30-day evaluation version is available for download. Downloading it and consequently installing it will not take long.

CloudXplorer has a ribbon interface and that, of course, means that buttons for all the features and functions are presented on a ribbon at the top. As expected, the ribbon can be very easily hidden out of sight. From the ribbon you can pick one of several layout options: large icons, small icons, list, details.

The following features are offered by CloudXplorer: connect to your Windows Azure account, view and manage your Windows Azure storage, download and upload data, rename data, delete data, import/export account info, useful find function, support for drag and drop, and more. All the functionality CloudXplorer has to offer is not free. As mentioned above, it is only free to try for an evaluation period of 30 days.

Connect to your Windows Azure account and very easily browse and manage your storage with the user friendly application CloudXplorer.

Pros

There is nothing complicated about installing CloudXplorer. The application has a ribbon interface; you willl immediately feel at home with this simple interface. There are several layout options to choose from. Manage multiple accounts, connect to your Windows Azure account. View and manage your Windows Azure storage with CloudXplorer.

Cons

Free to use for a limited period of time (30-day evaluation period).
